Electronic digital signatures and e-ink signatures can be used to sign external documents. Signatures should be added to the documents on the template.
Electronic ink signatures can be applied only to .pdf format external documents. Please note that if you add an e-ink signature to an external document in the template, only .pdf files will be accepted for these documents in the following envelopes.
The process of signing external documents with QES has one difference from signing internal documents. When signing an external document electronic digital signature is applied only to the .pdf file version (not to the .xml file). Signature interface is the same as for structured documents.
