You can select one or more envelopes and sign them if the selected envelopes contain signature fields. To do this, choose the envelope(s) you want to sign and select the desired signature type from the signature type switcher available in the signature modal window.

How to Sign a Document Using SmartID - If you choose the ink signature type, follow these steps:
- Draw your signature or select a text signature if you haven’t saved one yet. Alternatively, you can use a saved signature
- Proceed to the third step of the signature modal window to sign all required documents
- Once the signing process is complete, you will receive a notification indicating whether the signing was successful or unsuccessful
If an error occurs during the signing process, you will be alerted with a message in the top right corner of the page and a tooltip on the red icon next to the failed envelopes.
A check that can occur:
- The active role is different from the assigned role
- The envelope contains fields other than the signature field for the active role
- The envelope has a signature without coordinates (meaning the signer determines the signature's location instead of the template creator)
- The signature is placed in an empty field of a dynamic table (a table field where the owner has not yet defined the number of rows)
